Welcome to the Apeiron Engineering Design Studio! This guide offers a quick overview of the key features that define the Apeiron experience.
GIS Viewer
At the heart of the Apeiron experience lies the GIS viewer, a fundamental component that enhances spatial awareness throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Utilize intuitive controls: employ your mouse scroll for zooming, left-click and drag for panning, and right-click and drag for rotation.
The layers legend, situated in the top right corner, provides information about the layers that are currently being displayed on the map.
Click on the search icon in the top left corner to open the search panel, which will allow you to find specific investigations by Infinity ID or other key properties.
Click on an investigation for a preview, while further details can be accessed by clicking the view button. While in this more detailed view, use the fix axis button to define consistent axis bounds when switching between different investigations. This can make it much easier to compare the properties of nearby investigations, for example, the termination depth.
Upload Investigations
Effortlessly integrate new investigations by navigating to the investigations shortcut, where you can drag and drop AGS or Excel files into the designated drop zone and click Digitise. We currently only support a single investigation per file, while more file types will be coming soon!
If we can successfully read the contents of your file, you will be presented with a summary of the first 100 rows. Click Digitise again to continue.
You can then fill out any missing attributes, including setting a confidentiality level. Check out this article for more information about data levels. You can change the coordinates by dragging the blue icon on the map.
When you are done, click Submit as Draft. Your investigation will then instantly become available for use in draft status. When viewing the detailed summary of a draft investigation, you will be given the option to edit the investigation or to finalise it. Once finalised, no further changes can be made to the investigation.
Projects and Modules
The Projects shortcut is your gateway to existing projects, while the Create button facilitates the initiation of new ones.
A Project is composed of one or more stages. Each Stage has its own Dataset. All of your interpret and design modules inside of a Stage automatically draw data from the associated Dataset. Design modules, such as the liquefaction calculator, reside within a designated Design Scenario.
Profile Options
Access account settings, organizational management (for administrators), and comprehensive help and support by clicking on your profile in the top right corner. Delve into topics like data levels, organizational management, and specific modules to enhance your proficiency within the Apeiron platform.
So now that you know your way around, dive right in and have a play!
