When supplying or making any data available to the Infinity platform, the client must identify the data as:
- Level 1: Data that the client and the other Infinity customers may use for their own purposes, and which Infinity will uploaded to the New Zealand Geotechnical Database (NZGD) on the clients behalf.
- Level 2: Data that the client and the other Infinity customers may use for their own purposes, but which the client does not want, or cannot be uploaded to the NZGD.
- Level 3: Data that only the client can access (i.e. it will not be available to Infinity’s other customers). Infinity has the right to use this data to train its algorithms and for improvement of its products for customer benefit.
- Level 4: Data that only the client can access (i.e. it will not be available to Infinity’s other customers). Infinity cannot use this data to train its algorithms or for improvement of its products. All outputs run by the client will also have a warning note added that Level 4 data has been used.
The client may amend the data level allocated to any of the data that they have uploaded, provided that the new level is more permissive. For example, the level of a data set can be amended downwards from Level 3 to Level 2 but upwards from Level 2 to Level 3.
